A huge thank you to everyone who came to Laragh on Saturday 15 August for Run the Ridge 2026, which this year also doubled as the Athletics Wicklow off-road championship. It was a great day on the hills and in the woods, and we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

  • 20 km ‘Run the Ridge’: Benjamin Butler (Kilcoole AC), 1:30:38, and Catherine Devitt (Glendalough AC / WW RC), 1:50:57

Thank you

Run the Ridge only happens because of the people behind it. Thank you to our volunteers and marshals, who stood out on the mountain and in the woods for hours so everyone could run safely. Thank you to the landowners who let us cross their land every year. We couldn’t hold the race without them. And thank you to Laragh GFC and Glendalough AC, who put the event together. Every entry helps both clubs.

See you on Saturday 14 August 2027

Next year’s race is on Saturday 14 August 2027, starting at 08:30. Entries are on Race Space:
